- 简介：The Journal of Cross-Cultural Gerontology offers an international and interdisciplinary forum for discussion of the aging process and the problems of the aged throughout the world. The journal emphasizes discussions of research findings, theoretical issues and applied approaches that deal with non-Western populations, as well as articles providing comparative orientation to the study of the aging process in its social, economic, historical and biological perspectives.Coverage includes a broad range of articles exploring non-Western societies, from such perspectives as history, anthropology, sociology, political science, psychology, population studies and health. Also included are articles from Western societies comparing sub-cultural groupings or ethnic minorities. As societies become ever more multicultural and many societies experience an unprecedented ?graying? of their populations, the Journal stands at the forefront of one of the most pressing issues of our times.
