- 简介：Frontiers of Earth Science in China serves the earth science community with the publication of break-through results on theory, science, and applications of earth resources and the environment. It is a quarterly journal published by Higher Education Press and Springer aiming to bridge the gap between Asia and the rest of the world along the line of globalization. The journal offers highly selective and strictly peer-reviewed papers on important issues of earth science, emphasizing the solid earth's surface system and its interactions with the atmosphere, oceans and ecosystems. It is intended to serve as a primary source of multidisciplinary concepts and advances in interdisciplinary research for the earth science community, examining terrestrial, oceanic, and atmospheric interactions from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The journal focuses on all aspects of earth science: scientific, technical, managerial, economic, and social regimes on the local, regional, and global scales. Areas of interest include but are not necessarily restricted to geology, physical geography, geochemistry, geophysics, geo-biology, soil science, meteorology and climatology, environmental science and ecology as interacting components of earth science, and their related implications for policy and decision making. Contributions on important developments in global change, interactions between the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere, and innovative technologies including satellite remote sensing, carbon sequestration, etc. are also encouraged. In addition to research papers, the journal includes reviews, letters and special issues papers on key areas of technology.
