- 简介：Waste Management & Research (WM&R) satisfies the growing demand for scientifically based essential information that can be utilised by waste management professionals in academia, government, industry, engineering, management, planning, and public health.
WM&R is a fully peer-reviewed international journal that publishes original research and review articles relating to both the theory and practice of waste management and research.

- 主题范围： Waste Management & Research (WM&R) journal satisfies the growing demand for scientifically based essential information that can be referenced by waste management professionals in academia, government, industry, engineering, management, planning, and public health.WM&R is a fully peer reviewed journal that publishes articles relating to both the theory and practice of waste management and research. Articles should address problems and solutions that provide new knowledge and innovative thinking and applications of interest to an international solid waste management profession. WM&R accepts original work in the form of review articles, original articles, short reports, and letters to the editor. Topic categories are Wastes (focus on solids), Processes and Technologies of general interest, Management Systems and Tools, and Policy and Regulatory Frameworks. Manuscripts relating to sustainable waste management designs, operations, policies or practices and manuscripts addressing issues relevant to both developing and developed countries are appropriate and encouraged.Experimental work leading to new understandings and/or methodologies is welcome, given proven results and interesting perspectives for theory and/or practice in waste management. Manuscripts with limited scope and much specialised applications are normally not accepted. Studies on testing and characterisation of special products with only a peripheral pertinence to waste management are normally referred to materials science publications or dedicated journals on the topic. Modelling and software development manuscripts are acceptable, as long as model and software applications are accessible in the public domain. It is imperative that manuscripts are well founded in terms of existing literature and knowledge, including both recent and older publications. Originality, novelty and applicability of results in theory and/or practice are key criteria in accepting manuscripts for publication. Authors must avoid duplication of information already published and avoid citing opinions without referenced foundations. Strict compliance with WM&R manuscript submission guidelines is necessary before peer review and possible acceptance for publication.
