- 简介：Since its inception in 1968, Polity has established and maintained a distinct identity as a journal open to a variety of theoretically and historically informed approaches to the study of politics. While other political science journals have become increasingly specialized or associated with a particular trend within the discipline, Polity has steadfastly remained ecumenical in its approach, opening its pages to authors and articles whose styles are accessible and whose subjects are of interest to broadly educated readers.
